Graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium), she holds two Master’s qualifications obtained with distinction at the Free University of Brussels, one in International Law and the other in Maritime Law and air. Having passed the bar exam in the Republic of South Africa (South African Association of Law Society School for Legal Practice), Mrs MUMBA also followed a course in Advanced Management Programming at the Wits Business School University (RSA). In terms of training, she participated in the contest of Charles Rousseau International Law where she received the Best Paper Award in Lyon / France. She had to follow several other courses including International Law at the Academy of International Law in The Hague Netherlands, the Professional Reinsurance Program, Bank Strategy Master Class, Advanced Course in Credit, Trade and Commodity Finance, Asset and Liability Management (RSA).
Professionally, Ms. Wivine MUMBA Matipa practiced as a Lawyer from 1985-1988 in Brussels, Belgium, and is still a member of the Bar of Kinshasa in DRC. She also served as a consultant to UNICEF and worked at Lambani & Associates Attorneys, Maritime Brokers and Consultants. Mrs MUMBA was also assistant at the University of Kinshasa (1990-1992) in the Department of International Law. From February 2015, she became Director General of the National Agency for Investment Promotion (ANAPI)in the DRC.
